Purpose
SHD Studios uses AI as a creative, analytical, and operational tool. This policy explains where AI may be used, where human judgment remains responsible, how synthetic media is handled, and the ethical standards governing AI-assisted work.
Where AI may be used
AI-assisted tools may support story and screenplay development, fictional-world design, music and sound workflows, image and video creation, voice prototyping, marketing, websites and software, research, analytics, customer-support drafting, and internal planning. The extent of AI involvement varies by project.
Human direction and accountability
AI systems are tools, not SHD Studios’ legal, creative, or managerial decision-makers. Human personnel remain responsible for creative direction, editorial decisions, publication approval, accuracy, rights clearance, marketing claims, and legal and ethical compliance.
Synthetic media disclosure
SHD Studios may publish fictional characters, virtual performers, synthetic voices, AI-assisted music, generated images, and AI-assisted video. When AI involvement is material to understanding content—or disclosure is required by law or platform policy—SHD Studios will provide reasonable labeling or context in descriptions, credits, notices, or metadata.
The absence of a label on an individual asset does not necessarily mean that no AI-assisted tool was used during production.
Fictional identities and consent
Unless expressly identified as a real person, fictional characters should not be interpreted as real individuals making factual claims or endorsements. SHD Studios will not knowingly use AI to deceptively impersonate a real person or materially replicate an identifiable likeness or voice without a lawful basis, appropriate authorization, or legitimate protected purpose.
Accuracy and limitations
AI can produce inaccurate, incomplete, fabricated, biased, or outdated output. SHD Studios does not treat AI output as factual merely because an automated system produced it. When accuracy is material, personnel should consult authoritative sources, distinguish evidence from inference, verify names and statistics, and correct discovered material errors.
Analytics and decision support
The SHD YouTube Command Center may use rules or AI to interpret authorized channel analytics and recommend actions. Recommendations are advisory and do not guarantee performance. The Command Center cannot autonomously upload, modify, publish, or delete YouTube content.
Google user data
Authorized Google and YouTube data is used only for disclosed analytics, reporting, and operational purposes. SHD Studios does not sell it, use it for unauthorized viewer profiling, transfer it for unrelated advertising, or use it to train a publicly available or general-purpose AI model.
Privacy and data minimization
SHD Studios seeks to limit AI inputs to information reasonably necessary for the task. Personnel should not enter passwords, OAuth secrets, private credentials, unnecessary personal information, financial account information, or confidential third-party material into AI systems.
Intellectual property and fairness
SHD Studios seeks to respect copyrights, trademarks, contractual rights, publicity rights, and other applicable interests. Outputs should be reviewed for unauthorized branding, protected characters, unlicensed material, unapproved likenesses, or misleading claims of authorship.
AI will not intentionally be used to make unlawful discriminatory decisions. Content should be reviewed for harmful stereotyping, harassment, exploitation, or other foreseeable harm.
Prohibited uses
SHD Studios prohibits knowingly using AI to facilitate fraud, identity theft, fake reviews, deceptive impersonation, nonconsensual intimate imagery, harassment, malicious software, credential theft, unlawful discrimination, fabricated evidence, false emergency communications, or undisclosed misuse of authorized Google data.
Concerns and corrections
Concerns involving impersonation, unauthorized likeness use, material inaccuracies, privacy, intellectual property, or misleading AI-generated content may be reported to contact@spacehistorydesigns.com. SHD Studios will review credible reports and take appropriate action when warranted.
Policy review
AI technology, law, and platform requirements continue to change. SHD Studios may revise this policy as its tools, practices, or obligations evolve.
